Delete Adskeeper ads from Firefox
If the Mozilla Firefox internet browser program is hijacked, then resetting its settings can help. The Reset feature is available on all modern version of Firefox. In the Help menu, select the “Troubleshooting Information” option. Another way to open the “Troubleshooting Information” screen – type “about:support” in the internet browser adress bar and press Enter. It will display the “Troubleshooting Information” page as on the image below. In the upper-right corner of this screen, click the “Refresh Firefox” button.
It will display the confirmation dialog box. Further, click the “Refresh Firefox” button. The Firefox will begin a procedure to fix your problems that caused by the ad supported software which causes annoying Adskeeper ads. Once, it is finished, click the “Finish” button.
Remove Ads by Adskeeper from Internet Explorer
If you find that IE web-browser settings such as homepage, newtab page and search engine by default having been replaced by adware that causes intrusive Adskeeper advertisements, then you may return your settings, via the reset browser procedure.
First, start the IE, then click ‘gear’ icon . It will display the Tools drop-down menu on the right part of the web-browser, then click the “Internet Options” as shown on the screen below.
In the “Internet Options” screen, select the “Advanced” tab, then press the “Reset” button. The IE will show the “Reset Internet Explorer settings” prompt. Further, click the “Delete personal settings” check box to select it. Next, click the “Reset” button as displayed on the screen below.
Once the task is done, click “Close” button. Close the IE and reboot your machine for the changes to take effect. This step will help you to restore your web browser’s new tab, startpage and search provider by default to default state.
Remove Adskeeper ads from Google Chrome

Once installed, the adware can add a task in to the Windows Task Scheduler Library. Due to this, every time when you run your computer, it will display an intrusive web page. So, you need to check the Task Scheduler Library and remove all harmful tasks that have been created by adware.
Press Windows and R keys on the keyboard at the same time. This displays a dialog box that called Run. In the text field, type “taskschd.msc” (without the quotes) and click OK. Task Scheduler window opens. In the left-hand side, press “Task Scheduler Library”, as displayed in the figure below.
In the middle part you will see a list of installed tasks. Please choose the first task, its properties will be display just below automatically. Next, click the Actions tab. Pay attention to that it launches on your computer. Found something like “explorer.exe http://site.address” or “chrome.exe http://site.address”, then remove this harmful task. If you are not sure that executes the task, check it through a search engine. If it is a component of the adware, then this task also should be removed.
Having defined the task that you want to remove, then press on it with the right mouse button and choose Delete as displayed in the figure below.
Repeat this step, if you have found a few tasks which have been created by unwanted applications. Once is complete, close the Task Scheduler window.
How to automatically get rid of Adskeeper ads

Once install is finished successfully, Zemana Free will automatically start and you can see its main window as shown in the figure below.
Next, click the “Scan” button . Zemana tool will begin scanning the whole computer to find out ad-supported software which causes undesired Adskeeper ads. A system scan can take anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes, depending on your machine. While the utility is checking, you can see how many objects and files has already scanned.
When that process is finished, the results are displayed in the scan report. Review the results once the utility has finished the system scan. If you think an entry should not be quarantined, then uncheck it. Otherwise, simply press “Next” button.

This process can take some time, so please be patient. While the MalwareBytes tool is scanning, you can see count of objects it has identified as being infected by malicious software.
As the scanning ends, MalwareBytes Anti-Malware (MBAM) will show a screen that contains a list of malicious software that has been found. All found threats will be marked. You can remove them all by simply click “Quarantine Selected” button.
The MalwareBytes AntiMalware (MBAM) will remove ad supported software that causes multiple undesired advertisements and pop ups. After disinfection is finished, you can be prompted to restart your personal computer.
