In the “Internet Options” screen select the Advanced tab. Next, click the “Reset” button. The IE will display the “Reset Internet Explorer” settings dialog box. Select the “Delete personal settings” check box and press Reset button.
You will now need to restart your PC for the changes to take effect. It will restore the Microsoft Internet Explorer’s settings like homepage and search engine by default to default state, disable ad-supported browser’s extensions and thereby delete the redirect to b.max-up.men unwanted web-page.
Delete unwanted Scheduled Tasks
Once installed, the ad supported software can add a task in to the Windows Task Scheduler Library. Due to this, every time when you start your PC, it will open b.max-up.men annoying page. So, you need to check the Task Scheduler Library and remove all tasks that have been created by adware.

After downloading is complete, close all windows on your computer. Further, launch the file named mb3-setup. If the “User Account Control” dialog box pops up as shown on the screen below, click the Yes button.
It will show the “Setup wizard” which will allow you install Malwarebytes on the machine. Follow the prompts and do not make any changes to default settings.
Once the installation is complete successfully, click Finish button. Then Malwarebytes will automatically start and you can see its main window as shown below.
Next, click the “Scan Now” button . This will begin scanning the whole PC system to find out malware and ‘ad supported’ software which cause the b.max-up.men advertisements. When a threat is found, the number of the detected objects will change accordingly. Wait until the the checking is finished. Please be patient.
When it has finished scanning, you can check all threats detected on your computer. Make sure all entries have “checkmark” and click “Quarantine Selected” button.

Once downloading is done, open the directory in which you saved it and double-click the AdwCleaner icon. It will launch the AdwCleaner tool and you will see a screen as on the image below. If the User Account Control dialog box will ask you want to display the application, click Yes button to continue.
